Strategic Project S14: Economical Maintenance of Low Volume Roads- Research Program

S14 is a Finnra research program that will extend from 2002 to 2005. Its objective is to find effective and more economical ways of maintaining low volume roads taking environmentally sustainable development into account.

The cost estimate for the S14 project is 1.8 million euros.

A brief summary of essential reseach results will follow. Guidelines and recommendations concerning methods and practical implementation will be drafted on the need.
